The book “So B It” by Sarah Weeks is a mystery and tear jerker. It is about a mysterious mother with a blank past. Her daughter, Heidi, doesn’t understand why she is so isolated with only a few friends she can count on. Her Mom has something wrong with her and seems to have no family. Her neighbor is helping raise her and doesn’t offer much help in helping Heidi figure out her Mom. Heidi goes on a five day journey by herself (she is 11 yrs old!) and finds out more about her Mom in those 5 days than she had in 11 years. It is a sad story that also has a happy ending. I recommend it highly.
