There will be an Acting Workshop that will focus on Improv. beginning 8/10 (3 sessions). In September the S.A.T. Workshop will be held on 4 consecutive Thursdays beginning September 8th. Community Service Programs include Young Adult Council on September 19th & Back to School Craft Buddies on September 20th. And back by popular demand… After School Bingo on September 26th. Students – Got Talent?

Interested in Theatre? Have a Musical Talent or some poetry you would like to share? Love the limelight? Then you might be interested in our August Celebration of the Arts @ Lindenhurst Memorial Library! Kick off the month with the Talent Zoneon August 6th. The Talent Zone is perfect for the budding performer – it is open to all grades and all types of performances (even knock knock jokes). Showcase your talent at Lindenhurst’s own talent show! We will even have a podcast of your performance on our website! How about registering for our Three Session Acting Workshop led by Jason Spagnuoli. This workshop is open to grades 5 (graduates) through 12th grade and will be held on Wednesdays from 8/10-8/24 @ 7 p.m. This program will include a performance. Want to be a recording star? You can participate any time in our Podcast Project! One hour of community service credit is awarded to all that participate in our Podcast Project. You could read a poem or a short story that you have composed or create an old time radio show and act it out with your friends! Wow an audience while learning Magic- the Magic Workshop and Performance will be on Wed. August 3rd at 4 p.m.! (3rd grade graduates through 12th) Call the children’s room if you any questions about these programs. And remember, sign up for our Reading Club starting June 20th- join us for our Summer Celebration of Reading and the Arts!
