Teen Read Week – Picture It @ Your Library
Teen Read Week is 10/16-10/22. Bring in an original picture of your favorite book and a review & you will be featured on our Teen Blog. You will also be entered into a raffle. Entry forms will be available beginning Oct. 7th in the Children’s Room @ Lindenhurst Memorial Library (NY).
The Young Adult Library Services Association(YALSA) has also announced a 2011 Teen Read Week Photo Contest! Teens 13-18 can create a photo representing their favorite book and win signed books or an e-reader loaded with teen titles, courtesy Penguin Books for Young Readers. The contest will be judged by Jay Asher, 2011 Teen Read Week spokesperson. Learn more at www.ala.org/teenread.
